These Terms & Conditions apply to sessions and lesson packages purchased through JFConvo.

1. Sessions and payment

JFConvo provides private online English conversation and communication sessions. Sessions are 50 minutes unless otherwise stated. Payment is required in advance when purchasing a session or package.

2. Rescheduling and missed sessions

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, may be counted as completed.

3. Lesson packages

Lesson packages are intended to be used regularly and are valid from the date of the first session:

Focused Plan — 10 sessions — 3 months
Fluency Plan — 20 sessions — 6 months
Mastery Plan — 40 sessions — 12 months

Unused sessions may expire after the applicable validity period.

If JFConvo needs to postpone a session, the package validity period may be extended where appropriate so that the student is not disadvantaged by the postponement.

4. Refunds

If you purchase a lesson package and decide that JFConvo is not right for you, you may request a refund within your first two completed sessions.

The first two completed sessions are non-refundable. Any eligible unused balance of the package will be refunded.

After the first two completed sessions, lesson packages are generally non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Single sessions that have already been completed are non-refundable.

5. Technical problems

Students are responsible for having a suitable internet connection, working audio/video equipment and access to the agreed lesson platform.

If a session cannot reasonably proceed because of a technical problem on JFConvo's side, the affected session will be rescheduled or replaced.

6. Results

JFConvo is designed to help students improve spoken communication, confidence, pronunciation, critical thinking and real-world English.

Individual progress varies. JFConvo does not guarantee a particular IELTS score, employment outcome, level of fluency or other specific result.

7. Recording

Sessions are not recorded by JFConvo without mutual agreement.

Students should not record or distribute a session without prior permission.

8. Respectful participation

JFConvo sessions are intended to provide a professional and respectful learning environment.

JFConvo may decline or discontinue a session where there is abusive, threatening or seriously inappropriate behaviour.

9. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the JFConvo Privacy Policy.

10. Acceptance

By purchasing or booking a JFConvo session or lesson package, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
